Lava & Ash: rollerball pen in molten-orange resin poured against grey, smoke-figured burl
Rollerball pen

Lava & Ash

Fire meets ash: the resin was poured to flow into the burl's grain like lava into a cooling field.

Violet Tide: rollerball pen in deep violet resin cast around a golden burl island
Rollerball pen

Violet Tide

The burl sits like a shoreline in a violet sea; turn it in the hand and the tide moves.

Desert Lattice: matched pen pair, presented in a case in cholla cactus skeleton filled with jewel-toned resin
Matched pen pair, presented in a case

Desert Lattice

Cholla is the skeleton a desert cactus leaves behind. Each opening is filled by hand, so no two lattices ever match.
